Offer verification
We publish an offer only when we can point to a source: the brand’s own website, an affiliate network feed, or a community submission we’ve reviewed. Each offer carries a status, a source link, and a last-checked date. Offers we can no longer confirm are marked stale or removed.
Coupon confidence score
The confidence score is a directional 0–100 signal, not an official brand metric. It reflects the source type (brand-verified and network-verified rank highest), how recently we re-checked it, and shopper “worked / failed” reports. A low score means “verify at checkout,” not “broken.”
Last-checked & data freshness
Every offer shows when we last re-verified it. Discovered coupons are re-checked on a schedule, and the displayed date updates when we re-confirm an offer is still live. Brand facts show a source and a last-checked date where available.
Brand facts & product notes
Brand details (founder, headquarters, positioning, products) are summarised from the brand’s own public pages. We describe how products are marketed and commonly discussed — never medical claims. Anything we can’t confirm is labeled “not verified yet,” never invented or guessed.
Community moderation
Shoppers can submit working/expired reports, product comments, and public brand mentions. Submissions are reviewed by a moderator before they affect the page. We never publish invented reviews, ratings, popularity scores, buzz metrics, or working-code reports.
Public mentions & relationships
Public brand mentions are summarised from public sources for shopper research. Sponsored, gifted, affiliate, or ambassador relationships are labeled when known. We don’t claim a mention is an endorsement unless the source clearly states that relationship.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on NichePerks are affiliate links — if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This never changes your price, and it never changes our rankings: offers are ranked on verification, usefulness, and shopper value, not commission rate. See our full affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong or out of date? Tell us and we’ll review and update it. Approved corrections from the community can earn contributor points.
What we never do
- Invent reviews, star ratings, or expert / dermatologist quotes.
- Fabricate popularity scores, buzz numbers, or working-code reports.
- Assert unsupported medical, health, or certification claims.
- Let commission rate influence how offers are ranked.
